The cannabis industry is growing at an excitingly rapid rate, with more new innovations being put forward all the time. There are lots of amazing things that have come out of the industry, from medicine to skincare, though you probably haven’t heard of CBD water. This article is here to delve a little deeper into what exactly CBD water is, as well as what it can be used for.
What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in marijuana plants that is entirely non-psychoactive. The compound is also both an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, meaning that it is able to treatwhole range of different medical conditions – these properties also make it the perfect ingredient for beauty or skincare products.
There are many ways to consume CBD. Users can smoke it, just like with regular weed, though they can also get it into their system via edibles, tinctures, and topicals. Of course, as the title of this article suggests, tycoons in the world of weed have developed an interesting way of administering the substance: CBD water.
CBD water? What is it?
This new consumption method is, you guessed it, exactly what it sounds like. It is literally water that has been infused with cannabidiol in order to deliver an array of benefits. CBD water is inconspicuous and subtle, ensuring users can casually use it anywhere without fear of judgement. It also has the potential to mean being things for active individuals who could use it in the gym or out on a run.
However…
It is true to say that CBD water isn’t very well researched as of yet and so there is not a lot of evidence to support that it even works in the first place. Therefore, it is incredibly vital that individuals do not try to substitute it for any medical treatment that may have been prescribed to them by a physician. Instead, if you are interested in trying the product, use it in addition to whatever you are already taking so as not to harm your health.
