Cannabis infused food and drink are nothing new, though CBD cocktails are becoming increasingly popular due to the fact that the substance helps to put people at ease, allowing them to socialize much more fluidly. Let’s take a closer look at CBD cocktails:
Firstly, What Is CBD?
CBD comes in many different forms, including oils, edibles, waxes and the raw bud itself. On its own, CBD is not psychoactive, which means it won’t get you stoned. Although, if you’re really looking to avoid a high them be extra careful to only use CBD isolate when you consume it so as not to ingest any of the other compounds like THC – which will bake you like a cake by the way!
The most popular form of CBD consumption is probably CBD oil, simply because of practicality. In its oil form, CBD can be added to food and drink, or it can be dropped underneath the tongue for faster relief. The compound is known to relieve a wide-range of conditions, including anxiety – which, when you think about it, makes it the perfect choice to mix into your cocktail at a party.
How Do I Make A CBD Cocktail?
You don’t need to be an expert mixologist to create a decent CBD-infused cocktail, especially if you’re just using CBD in its oil form. Here’s a quick little Bloody Mary recipe to demonstrate just how easy it really is:

Step 1: Gather your ingredients and make sure you have a shaker to hand. The first thing you need to do is pour them all into your shaker and, you guessed it, shake them up. You’ll need tomato and lemon juice, vodka, CBD oil – duh! – and some Worcester sauce.
Step 2: pour your concoction into a glass, garnish with a salt, pepper, celery and, of course, a lemon peel, and – hey presto! – you’ve done it. Easy, right?
